THE EARLY YEARS
Born December 22, 1966 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Raised in Detroit, Michigan, before returning to my birthplace at age 13. I spent my summer months in Washington, D.C., with my father. Growing up in the North, South and Midwest best prepared me for whatever life had in store.
I moved to Atlanta in 1985 to attend college. After a successful career in the corporate and non-profit sectors as a National Account, Sales, Marketing and Advertising executive, I decided to bet on myself in 2003 and founded GM Legacy Enterprises. Soon after, I launched my own Media & Marketing consulting firm. In 2011, I acquired an advertising franchise and sold it in 2016. I have traveled the world, met world leaders, influencers and have a powerful network of friends, colleagues, and associates across the globe.
November 12, 2016, once again, I bet on myself. I made a conscious decision to pursue my very first dream. As a child, I privately dreamed of being a movie star, but didn't believe it were possible for a kid from the streets of Detroit. November 16th, I landed on the set of my favorite TV show; "Greenleaf" as an extra. On my fourth day, the 1st AD pulled me to stand-in for Keith David for one day. That same day, I earned the position full-time. That gave me all-access to learn the business. I was a sponge for the next four seasons. Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker. Sean Blakemore and several directors became my acting coaches, mentors and friends. Hard work and impressive rehearsals, resulted in me booking a role on the show as Calvary Fellowship's "Employee #1". I have been booking short-films, student films and indie roles every since. My latest booking is a leading role in the movie, "Behind Closed Doors" as Pastor Gerald Scott. Production is scheduled to begin, April 2021.
In 2020, I starred as Roland, the lead in "Evil Needs A Body". The short film received six (6) horror film nominations, winning five awards:
